Magnetic Liquid Traps

Magnetic Liquid Traps are designed to extract unwanted ferrous particles from liquid processing and food conveyors. Each unit contains several high-energy neodymium magnetic rods which can grab ferrous particles out of the moving product and hold them tightly to prevent them from reintroducing back into the product. Our Magnetic Liquid Traps can be manufactured to meet food and sanitary specifications.

Anything that conveys liquid, semi-liquid, or powder such as heavy oils, chocolate, fruit juice, syrup, jam, soup, spreads, milk, other chunky products, and many others. Our magnetic liquid traps are available in a variety of sizes for your particular need. 

Liquid Traps Construction Material

Our liquid traps can be constructed with the following stainless-steel material:

• 304
• 316
• 316L 

Magnetic Liquid Traps consist of a housing that includes mounting flanges. It also includes several magnetic rods which are welded to a tightly sealed lid. Each unit can simply be mounted to an existing pipe via various connection types such as flanges with mounting holes or quick release clamps. The magnetic assembly portion is secured with a clamp for line pressures of 87 psi and less, see the first 2 photos below. Swing away fasteners are used for line pressures higher than 87 psi, see the third photo below.
